Dark Mousy is actually the alter-ego of Daisuke Niwa. On Daisuke's 14th birthday he
gained the ability to turn into Dark whenever he feels feelings of love for someone.
This person just happened to be Risa Harada. She thinks Daisuke is too normal for her
and just decides to be friends. So when he actually turns into Dark, his alter-ego
possesses his body not just physically. This surprises Daisuke when he finds out that his
mom and grandfather already knew that this would happen. It turns out that for every male
born in the Niwa family he would become Dark on his 14th birthday.
Daisuke's mom has had an obsession with Dark ever since she was younger. When she was a teenager she would always tell guys to give her son, but this scared most away. They never asked why until she met Kosuke. He was the first to ever ask her this which she replied she wanted to be the mother of the famous kaitou (thief). Emiko always felt guilty that she wasn't a boy because during her birth, her own mother died. Kosuke marries her and later has Daisuke. To make up for her tragedy she absolutly loves Daisuke/Dark and makes all the costumes Dark wears.
Of course, Dark isn't without a sidekick either. Ever since Daisuke was young
he's had a bunny named With. He's lived with the Niwa family for years following the
soon-to-be Dark's. With can transform into anything Dark or Daisuke tells him to, most often
Dark's black wings. :D When With turns into Daisuke he often has trouble pronouncing his
name and comes out as "daisuki". This causes a lot of confusion and embarrassment between
Daisuke, Riku and Risa.
When the story of the famous kaitou starts to appear on the news Risa starts to like this new mysterious guy Dark. He see's her personality through Daisuke which he doesn't like, but instead falls in love with Riku, Risa's twin sister. It also turns out that Daisuke later falls in love with her and becomes her boyfriend. Little does Daisuke know that this isn't all he has to do to stop the transformations of Dark. He also has to tell his love that he is Dark too. There's only one problem, Riku just happens to hate Dark... >_< I won't go any further because I think I've talked for a while. Just go read the manga and find out what happens. XP
